What is Meditation?

  What is meditation?? Meditation is  a practice that trains attention and awareness, often used to achieve a state of mental clarity and emotional calmness. It often involves sitting quietly and paying attention to your breathing, a mantra, or a specific focus to help reduce stress, increase awareness, and improve mental clarity. Benefits Reduces stress and anxiety Enhances emotional health Improves focus and concentration Promotes better sleep Increases self-awareness Helps manage pain Supports overall well-being and mindfulness How??? Choose a calm, comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.  Sit or lie down in a relaxed position. Keep your back straight.  Pay attention to your breathing. Inhale deeply and exhale slowly.  Allow thoughts to come and go without judgment. Gently bring your focus back to your breath.  Begin with a few minutes and gradually increase the time as you get more comfortable.
